The Palisades Community Fund .
The Palisades Community Fund was originally founded to foster resilience, recovery, and renewal in the Palisades community and beyond. Established to provide critical support for those impacted by the devastating 2025 wildfires in the region, our mission extends to advancing the long-term economic, cultural, and environmental revitalization of the Palisades and the greater Los Angeles County community. This mission reflects our commitment to equitable and inclusive revitalization, fostering partnerships that inspire hope, rebuilding lives, and preserving the unique character of the Palisades for generations to come.
Founded in January 2025 as a fiscally sponsored project of the Edward Charles Foundation, a 501(c)(3) public charity. Through individual donations and our The Day After Tomorrow event we raised tax-deductible contributions to support recovery efforts, empower community-led redevelopment, and ensure enduring support for the well-being and prosperity of all who call this region home.
In November 2025, The Palisades Community Fund granted $230,297 in contributions raised to Team Palisades.
Team Palisades.
Team Palisades is a volunteer-led recovery and resilience network founded by local residents following the 2025 wildfires. Modeled on the After the Fire USA Block Captain system, Team Palisades begins by building connection—helping neighbors know and support one another as the first step toward recovery. From that foundation of trust, the team helps neighborhoods stay informed and organized through every stage of rebuilding—from debris removal and permitting, to emotional wellbeing and emergency readiness. By integrating community culture, preparedness, and care, Team Palisades is working toward a new standard of grassroots resilience in Los Angeles.
Focus Areas - Insurable Rebuild, Fire Safety and Prevention; Preparedness and Training; Wellbeing Initiatives; Community Connection and Arts
The Palisades Community Fund grant helps to create a self-sustaining source of support for resilience work over the next several years; funding the people, programs, and partnerships that turn lessons learned into lasting systems and collaborative frameworks, enabling a stronger community for current and future generations of Palisadians.
By connecting emergency readiness, rebuilding information, emotional support, local leadership, and community art, Team Palisades is helping the Palisades transform into a lived example for post-disaster renewal and a blueprint for Los Angeles as a whole.
